Ocean Isle Beach Trip

A few weekends ago we went to Ocean Isle Beach with our Sunday School class. It was a beautiful weekend with great friends. We had 10 couples go...five with kids and five without kids. We rented a duplex, which worked perfectly....kids on one side...no kids on the other. The guys got to play football on the beach (and really paid for it over the next few days after!), we went to the Oyster Festival, played games, and enjoyed fellowshiping with one another. The beautiful house above was the house right beside our duplex! Check out the sunset...we felt like we were all of a sudden in some tropical location...not OIB! I did a horrible job of taking pictures...but managed to get a few. We are already looking forward to the second annual SS beach trip!

Hill Ridge Farms

We went to Hill Ridge Farms with some friends a few weeks ago to play on the farm, go on a hay ride and pick out pumpkins! Here are some pictures from our trip.

9 months old!

Griffin turned 9 months old on September 10th. We just went to the doctor today and he said that G is looking GREAT! He weighed 18lbs 15.5oz (25%), 28 3/4 inches long (70%) and 46.2cm HC (80%). Griffin had quite the growth spurt since his 6 month checkup in June! Way to go buddy...we are so proud of you!

Stay low, soldier!

He's goin' mobile... Ok, so it's not full out crawling, but with the army-crawl, Griffin can get where he wants!

Labor Day Weekend

We had an awesome Labor Day weekend! It began with a NCSU win and ended with a walk in the park. Griffin is also crawling now...army style! Watch out world! Here are some pics from the park...

1st NCSU game!

We couldn't have asked for better weather for the first home NCSU game this weekend! Griffin did excellent through the entire game. He laughed, danced and even cheered on the Wolfpack to a victory over WCU. He stayed awake the entire game! It was fun to be back at Carter Finley. We are looking forward to the rest of the season. GO PACK!

Swing

Griffin and I went to watch Kevin's softball game last week. We, unfortunately, were not good luck and they lost. We had a great time playing in the grass and swinging for the first time though.

Pool

We got this little pool for Griffin and he has really enjoyed splashing around in it and playing with his bath toys. It was $3.50 well spent. Too bad the top is pink...haha...sorry, bud!

Don't Blink....

... life moves full speed ahead. What a great (and rare) time it was a couple weeks back to have all from these families together (Crawley's, DeVoe's, Prince's, Redmond's, and us) at once.


It doesn't seem like long ago was graduation, and then being a part of each other's weddings, and now keeping up with our growing families (no pressure or anything, Jason and Rebecca).

God has truly blessed us with great friends and great families...
