29th

I had a really fun birthday weekend!  We went to lunch at Village Deli and played around
the fountain at The Factory.  Griffin wanted to jump in (see 3rd picture above!),
but it was THAT warm. :)  Kevin and I enjoyed a nice date night on
Saturday and shared 32 oz. of yummy steak together.
Yes, you read that right, 32 ounces.
Yikes...but it was so delicious!
Turns out 29 isn't too bad...so far!

Sweet.

Love him!

Haircut

Griffin was sitting so still with Grandma J that I decided to trim his hair a bit.
I forgot to take a picture of his new do though.  He looks like a big boy, even with just a trim!

Bye Bye Paci

You will no longer see Griffin like this:

You will ONLY see him like this:
Because we are Paci-free!!  Woot Woot!!

We've been paci-free for one month now and it's been GREAT!  It was an
easy transition and we are so proud of Griffin! :)

Tucker

Griffin LOVES Tucker and (I think) Tucker loves Griffin...most of the time.
Griffin is always saying, "Tucker" and looking around for him if he isn't in sight.
It's one of the first things he says when he wakes up.  He chases him around the house,
throws his toys for him to chase and gives him treats.  Tucker will lay outside of Griffin's
room at nap time until he is sure that G is asleep.  Tucker runs back upstairs as soon
as he hears Griffin wake up from him nap.  They are best buds.
It's really sweet...I love that they get along so well!

Spring Hope, NC

We recently went to visit my Grandma Janie (G's great grandma!) in Spring Hope.
She made a delicious lunch for us and we enjoyed visiting with family.
Griffin even got to try some of Grandma's famous chicken stew (my favorite!!)
and chicken salad, etc. and he loved it all.  I thought this was a funny
series of pictures...so I posted them ALL!
Enjoy.

Outside Fun

We had lots of fun playing outside today!  It was a beautiful day and we really
enjoyed getting some vitamin D.  Funny that it was only 50 degrees here,
but it seemed so warm!  In the top picture, Griffin is holding a camel
that is from his Little People nativity set.  The camel is the
"toy of the week."  He LOVES it and it has
been everywhere with us this week.
Sweet.
